1.5x C-Mount Extender lens allows the user to increase the magnification on their optical vision system. This simple lens assembly is easily fitted between the master lens and the C-Mount camera. It will boost magnification and reduce field of view, without affecting the working distance of the system. Available in four different magnifications 1.5X, 2X, 3X, 5X, this can be a useful tool adding flexibility to an ever changing vision application.

One important note to be aware of is that with increased magnification comes increased light attenuation. These lenses can reduce light throughput, as a consequence of increased magnification. Make sure that powerful illumination is available for your system. These Extension lenses are suitable for use with C-Mount camera sensors that are 1/2″ format or smaller. They produce an 8mm ø image circle, and if used with sensors larger than this diagonal, the image will vignette and need to be cropped.
