Sugitoh 8x Macro Zoom lens is one of our favourite lenses  (alongside the 3x version). Miniature in size at just 101mm long, it is ideal for monitoring and inspection tasks in even the tightest spaces. This version also has a manual iris for adjusting brightness and controlling depth of field. Variable field of view macro imaging, is provided throughout the whole 8:1 magnification range of 0.1x and 0.8x in the lens only format. You can then further change the working distance and magnification properties simply by adding one of four front converter lenses. These front lenses increase the magnification, and reduce working distance. (All configuration properties are shown in the product description below). Suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, factory automation, image processing, and close up machine vision projects. Pair with C-Mount cameras of with a maximum sensor of 1/2″ (8mm diagonal) for best results. Have also been known to be used in Life science application as a simpler and smaller alternative to a stereo zoom microscope.
